This set was photographed in a studio in Chicago, IL and was created to
feature the bedding and footstool. I created the "stone" fireplace from
expandable spray foam. In this technique, I built a styrofoam fireplace
structure and sprayed and molded the expandable foam as it dried. I then
spray painted with different greys, whites, blacks and rust colors to
achieve a stone look. The mantle is created from slate tiles. I built a faux
wood "post and beam" and sprayed the "window" with flocking to
emphasize the ski lodge feeling.
